i ride these trails almost everyday when i'm not at school and i have to admit, i feel really weird when i'm alone on jacob's ladder first lift in the morning or after the last lift when the sun is going down and the trails are almost empty. it feels like i'm being watched or sumthing.

it's creepy. but during the day when the slopes are packed its fine. Do the geological things change based on time of day or how many people are there? is the it dangerous? Sorry i didnt' understand the gsa paper at all :(

When you guys are talking about mountain activity, can you describe physically what's happening on the mountain? When people have reported "occurences," what are they seeing? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion theseekerof77, I am familiar with the study. The Cenozoic Uplift is an anomaly right here in Colorado that required massive geologic and thermochronologic studies to properly document it. If the Buttermilk anomalies received the same attention the Yellowstone anomalies got then we'd be getting somewhere.

Great Paper! Keep thinking and spread the word.

Hey Jim. You should check out this study if you haven't seen it already. Talks about the Cenozoic Uplift in some greater detail. Here's the paper: http://gsa.confex.com/gsa/2007AM/finalprogram/abstract_130218.htm
Anyway, is it possible for two different geological strata to trap noncorporeal entities? Sounds like a trip, I know, but my girlfriend is asking. She respects your theories, but believes there are darker forces at work. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I only ride a bike, and YES - I do use those little twisty lightbulbs. I'm with you, man.
